Lethbridge Minor Basketball Association is dedicated to sharing the game of basketball with interested athletes, from first-time players to competitive club ball athletes. We believe in creating opportunities for children and adolescents with varying skill levels and experiences to connect through basketball in a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment.

Lethbridge Minor Basketball Association was built on the belief that basketball is for all youth across southern Alberta — whether they’re stepping onto the court for the first time or continuing their journey in the sport. With diverse programming, experienced coaching, and a welcoming environment, LMBA creates space for young athletes from communities throughout the region to grow, compete, and connect.

Our Governance

Lethbridge Minor Basketball Association (LMBA) is guided by its bylaws, which outline how our organization is structured and governed. These bylaws set the rules for membership, meetings, elections, and the responsibilities of our Board of Directors.

They help ensure LMBA remains transparent, accountable, and aligned with our mission of promoting youth basketball in our community.

Basketball has the power to teach discipline, teamwork, and resilience — but most importantly, it creates opportunities. We believe children deserve the chance to play, no matter their financial circumstances.
