At LMBA, we believe no player should miss out on sport due to financial barriers. Our communities funding assistance programs helps eligible players cover registration fees so athletes can stay in the game.

If you have a child that wants to participate in LMBA and you need some assistance with the registration fees, check out the three programs below.  Usually through one program or a combination, most of the registration fees may be covered. If these options will not work, don’t let that stop you. Contact us for other options ↗

It has been proven that when youth have access to team sports, they are able to cultivate critical skills—confidence, leadership, and problem-solving—that also serve them well in their personal and professional lives.  

KIDSPORT

KidSport provides financial assistance to help cover registration fees for kids 18 and under.

CANADIAN TIRE JUMPSTART

Jumpstart offers grants to cover the cost of sports registration, equipment, and related expenses.

CITY OF LETHBRIDGE FEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

This program provides recreation subsidies for eligible families in Lethbridge.
